This review is not in regards to the jacket because I never recieved it. This review is in regards to Motorcycle Superstore. I ordered the jacket on 3/4/2010 w/ free shipping. To this day 3/19/2010 I did not get the jacket. I called customer service on three occasions, the first time I was told that it would be shipping either that day or the following day, I think that was the 9th or 10th of March. I called again on the 17th and I was told that it was in the warehouse and that they would email me and look into overnighting it to me. Today the 19th I called because I never recieved an email. I got another rep that basically told me that I would just have to wait and that I was screwed because I used paypal instead of ordering with my credit card!!! ;-/ She stated some kinda of policy they have that keeps them from changing the shipping…so pretty much the jacket was not in their store and they could not overnight it. My only option was to pay twice for a jacket (that they DO NOT have in STOCK )and wait for IT and my refund from paypal. Overall my experience was horrible. I do not recommend this store. Great price but that means nothing if you can’t get what you paid for!!!!!

Unlike the earlier reviewer, I DID get my jacket…from Motorcycle Superstore (I’ve never had a bit of trouble with my orders from them; it does take them a couple days to ship, but once it’s on its way, no problem)….and it’s AWESOME! Of the 4-5 motorcycle jackets I’ve owned, THIS ONE is the keeper! Like many leathers, it may run just a hair small (I usually wear a 20-22 and ordered the 3W. I probably could have worn the 2W, but this one gives me some room), so order up if any doubt. The “Exo” lacing system on the sides is great…helps fit the jacket perfectly, plus it just looks hot! I ordered the black/black and the one surprise is that the trim is BLACK PATENT. The sides have an overprint on them that lends a nice feminine touch.
Be forwarned, though, that in the end this jacket is SERIOUS protective gear…it’s HEAVY and fully armored. If you just want to look good once in awhile, buy a fashion jacket. If you ride a lot and you want to look good while you’re dusting the gravel off your chaps, THIS is your jacket! Features a zip-out liner with CUFFS on the sleeves for cool weather, plus meshed vents and lots of pockets. Yep…at $165 on sale (still running around $300+ at a lot of shops), this was a STEAL! I think my two FirstGear jackets are headed for eBay! Now if I could just find the pants!!!
